File menu, View, Choose "clip properties," under general tab, Acid type: loop, one shot or beatmapped.

Automation is not what I want. I don't want to DRAW in the tweaks. I'd like to be able to twist and turn the knobs to get the sound right then and there not. Not record it then Automate just ONE at a time with the mouse or draw it in. But thanks for the reply.

Then buy yourself a hardware control surface and twist and teak in real-time all you want. I have an M-Audio Radium 49 keyboard and I can assign any of the 8 sliders + 8 knobs to control any of the virtual knobs on many of my VSTi's to control them in real-time. This is dependent on the VSTi being able to learn the knobs you want to use to control it but I find the VSTi's from Arturia and Native Instruments to work quite well.

I have a Oxygen8 and I can't seem to get the knobs or sliders to work with any of my VSTi's. They trigger just fine. I am however using MIDI input not USB so I'm not sure if this is a problem. It was never a problem with FLS or Reason. But I'm completly new to ACID and I can't find much VST or MIDI help in the .pdf help file.
