It usually has nothing to do with the ReWire.dll. The Rewire.dll has some bogus debug error msg dialog box in its shipping code that will fire off when the host app has caused a problem.

What OS are you running?

What were you doing when this happened?

What was the exact error msg you go related to the rewire.dll?

Peter,

Could be possible to load Rewire as an option at preferences? In a future version...

Miquel.

I run XP sp2 fully updated.

It happens randomly when i work with my stuff. I ried ordering a new EDI cable for my E-MU 1820 M because I have a sneaky suspicion :)

Could this eventually be a potential sinner?

I do not use rewire at all, so the optional loading is a cool Idea.

Well this was not the problem (EDI cable for E-mu 1820). Any ideas?

Two:

1.- Move your entire vstplugins folder somewhere and load Acid again.

2.- Uninstall Acid, reboot and reinstall Acid again.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Miquel.

Yep, from one who knows: A re-install can do wonders.
