Hello, I have an old class recording I am attempting to clean up. One of the annoying parts of the recording is that there is a harsh, high picted sound with ever "s" the guy says. What is the best way to remove this? Thanks! Jamey |

Try playing with the Multi-Band plug-in as a start. (Effects > Dynamics > Multi-Band on the menu bar.) There's a "de-esser" preset in there. Iacobus |

Like what he said, but to expand, "Essing' on sibilant sounds is a recording problem primarily with some vocalists themselves, but can be exacberbated by mic choice or technique. Good luck geoff |
