I have my monitors hooked up via spdif. SO how do I have ACID open up new projects with the master and preview output faders set to SPDIF already? AND. How come sometimes at the bottom right where it says how much ram is being used, IT reads 2 channels recording? When Im only using 1. ALSO. Sorry, but my ACID gets real buggy when I run WAVES plug-ins. 1 More thing. If I buy the Academic version of Sound Forge. Can I upgrade to 9 for free? THANKS! |

Try going to Options > Preferences > Audio Device. Ensure that the default stereo and front playback device is set to your specific output. When you arm particular tracks for recording, the status bar should reflect that. For example, when you arm one track, the status bar should reflect one channel. I've heard the Waves plug-ins are notoriously resource-hungry, so it'd be no surprise that ACID "gets real buggy" with Waves running. Don't know about your last question. I believe there's a grace period but you'd have to contact Sony Creative to be sure. Iacobus |
