Subject:Get media from Web Posted by: Thomy P Date:5/20/2007 6:22:00 PM I know Ive seen this subj here before -- but in acid 6.0b it does not seem to work -- just sits there then eventually says " no media sites available " is there a fix or other option to acquire media ? thanks

Maybe that's because the number of new sample disk releases has dwindled. A few years ago, SF/Sony would release new loop disks every month or two. Get Media generally contains 3 or 4 packs of 6-10 loops each that are either previews/tasters for new libraries, or left-over material from published libraries. They add up to quite a bit of extra material for the cost of a download. Since the introduction of Kompakt, there re also some free downloadable instruments as well.
