In my 'Program Files' directory, besides the 'Sony' folder, which I understand contains the actual Acid and Sound Forge applications, I have a 'Sony Setup' folder including an 'ACID Pro 5.0' folder (even though I uninstalled Acid 5 some time ago) , an 'ACID Pro 6.0' folder, a 'Sony Sound Series Loops and Samples' folder and a 'Sound Forge Audio Studio 8.0' folder. All in all represents around 400 Mb of files, which I guess has to do with the installation processes but I'm not sure about what's their use once the software has already been installed.
What are this files for? Is it good to keep them on your hard drive? If not, what's the best way to remove them?

Thanks

These folders, from what I could gather, are folders the installers reference when performing things such as a repair or reinstall.

If you uninstalled ACID Pro 5, it's OK to delete the specific folder under the "Sony Setup" folder. I would keep the others if you still have those apps installed.

Thanks. Sounds quite reasonable.
