Subject:Drag and Drop bug?

When I select audio and attempt to drag it to the SF workspace, sometimes it will drag but most times it just tries to highlight a new selection. This is really annoying. One should be able to select the exact part one needs, and then go back to drag it wherever one wants. This always worked in earlier versions. Another in a series of annoyances with V 9. Is there a special V 9 answer to this problem?

Drag up or down a little bit first, the vertical movement is the cue Forge uses to differentiate between dragging and selecting.

Why now? Forge 9.0 allow you to perform drag operations on the same window, so we need to allow both behaviors.

Thank you for the specifics. It would be nice to be able to turn off the same window drag behavior - the extra shadow box is not helpful when your are working between two files.
