I'm looking for a loops album where I can create what sounds to me like a female voice holding one note but it has a synthesizer quality to it and a slight vibrato. ILONA isn't it. I have that album. This is a haunting, almost celestial quality to it and is featured frequently on the TV show "24." Very hard to explain; maybe I can post a clip of it, if necessary. I'm not sure if it's a vox effect or what--but I'm sure it's not an actual female singing a note. |

That's not a Theramin effect, is it? |

Hard to tell. Could be a basic synth thrown through a flange or wah. (Or it could be a vocal sample thrown through the same.) Iacobus |
