Where did these go? I can get a fade under from a dialogue box but this is not true ducking. This was a very intuitive feature on versions 3 through 7 that seems to have disappeared on 9. Say it can't be so! Also - easy crossfades. Why does the control key not bring up an easy crossfade instaed of being forced to use the complicated mix dialogue? Can this be turned back on? can I get my money back? So far I am a very dissappointed long term user. |

The new Mix / Replace process is clunky, (and broken, see my previous thread on this) compared to SF-8 and earlier versions. IMO another snafu by the developers, folks who probably never use SF in the "real world" |

I think you are right. I was hoping a SF staffer would come on with some helpful suggestions or a way to switch on the previous features. So far I'm glad I tried V9 at home instead of buying the upgrade for all of our studio computers. I'm keeping V7 on those for the time being. |
