Subject:cd burn taking for ever

Im trying to burn a cd from the time line.
There is 15 songs.
It wants to take 35 min burn it at 40x speed.
???????????
Can this be right?

How long is the entire time line in minutes:secs?

i figured out the problem.
It was a multi trk project.
It had to render it to a 2 trk wav. file first.

A lot of users don't realize that ACID has to smoosh everything down first in real-time before even burning the resulting stereo mix to CD.

I like ACID Pro's ability to burn and it's handy to have, but I prefer CD Architect (which comes with Sound Forge 8 and 9).
