Subject:No VST or DirectX plugins showing up

I am mainly an Acid user and don't use many features of SF. Maybe I am being dumb here.

When I load SF it shows all my VST plugins loading but when SF open I do not see them anywhere to use. In the past I think there was a DirectX drop down I could use but nothing is there now.

Any ideas for my dumb problem.

Go to FX Favorites> Organize
See if your plug-ins are there. They should be listed in folders "Sony, Third party, VST, DX, All. Drag your desired plugs to the Favorites folder.

i am having sim prob. SF9 does not see Audio Eases Altiverb6 VST fx. It sees all my others, i tried above but it is nowhere to be found. the dll is in my main vst folder .

i emailed Audi Ease, but i dont know where to start.
