Subject:how to delete FX Posted by: GES Date:5/5/2007 12:40:17 PM how do you delete DX and VST FX from the FX Chooser window (not chains) - i was thinking you used the Sony FX Manager, but i cant figure it out. The Sony Manager Prog seems like it only wants to 'see' chains ive made, but i want to delete FX i dont use (cant do in the Host itself either?) Highlight the effect in the chain you want to get rid of and click remove. In the plug-in chain window, upper right corner, there are two green buttons. One is the plug-in chain button that brings up the plug-in chooser. The other one looks just like it, but with a little red X on top of it. This second button deletes the currently selected plug-in.

I want to remove certain 'junk' FX that appear in the Chooser Window, permantly, so they dont clutter up the chooser. if i highlight one, the 'remove' box is 'greyed' out and unapplicable. the only time its avail is WHEN a chain is opened or you have selected 1 or more fx already, but it only removes fx in chain, not the box.
