I did not mean to be cheap, and I am not doing this out of laziness. I have already spent many, many hours trying to figure this out. I never meant for anyone else to spend hours working on this, so I am CANCELLING the contest. If you have already spent some time working on it send me what you have and a brief overview and I will do what I can for you. Thanks for understanding. Fix My Audio Contest Whoever does the best job fixing this spoken word clip is the winner. I need the voice to be as clear as possible and the noise to be minimalised. You may download the clip from the following location: Instructions: Download the clip. Fix it up. Email the clip (MP3) to FIXMYAUDIO@yahoo.com Include step-by-step detailed instructions so that I can replicate the fix. Include your Sony forums user name. Rules: The winner may use only the tools that come with Sound Forge 9 (including the Mastering Effects Bundle and Noise Reduction). The winner must provide a step by step detailed account of everything they do to the file. I need to be able to reproduce the result. There will be only one winner. The winner will receive $10 via PayPal and only via PayPal. I am the only judge. I reserve the right to cancel the contest if I receive fewer than ten entries or if I totally messed up the rules. This contest is sponsored by me, not by Sony or my employer or anybody else. The details of the winning entry will be posted on the forum. I will contact the winner via their entry email address and request their PayPal account address. Thank you, and good luck! Message last edited on5/3/2007 8:31:31 PM byforumsettings. |

$10? That's pay for about 20minutes of effort/work... but to clean up this POOR audio looks like at least a few hours worth of work. Not to mention the extra hour of writing up 'How it was done'. Doesn't sound like much of a prize all requests considered. |
