Subject:Delta 44 and Delta 66

I am sure there is an easy answer for this but I can't seem to figure it out. I have a Delta 44 and a Delta 66 plus a SB Audigy. I just use the SB for playback. Anyway, I recorded songs when I only had the Delta 44 and SB. I have the output of the 44 ran back to the input of the SB. Everything worked. Since I added the Delta 66, songs I recored after adding the 66 play back fine. Output goes to the 44. Songs I recorded when I only had the 44 will not play. Acid (6d) shows the output on the master volume control, but no output. the output is going to output of the 66. I have set the recording device to Delta 44 HW 1/2 and in monitor mode. No mater how I set the Delta router I can get both the new recordings and the old ones to play thru the same output. Anyone have any ideas? I don't understand why when it was recorded would make a difference to where it plays. Thanks

First bit of advice: Ditch the Audigy. :) The Delta 44 and 66 are far better audio interfaces.

As long as you have everything routed properly, it should work. (If you happen to make hardware changes, you'll more than likely have to specify what you want to use for recording and playback once more.)

Thanks for you input but the SB is not the issue. I use it for gaming. The issue is, why can't I tell ACID to send the output to the Delta 44 no mater when it was recorded. If I record a song now, all the tracks go to the Delta 44. If I play a song that was recorded before I added the Delta 66, the tracks go to the Delte 66. Very strange. I have set Acid output to go to the Delta 44 output 1/2, but on the previously recorded songs, it ignors me and send it to the Delta 66. I can use it this way, but I have to keep moving the amplified speakers from the Delta 44 to the Delta 66. This seems kinda nuts to me.
Thanks

It sounds like you changed the Audio Device default prefs and did not change the actual routing of the loaded project.

Click on the Master bus routing button in the Mixer view to change the output route to the Delta 44's output you desire.

Changing the Audio Device in the preference page sets the default for any new project. It does not update the current loaded project.

Make sure you save the project after you have changed the master bus's output destination.

I knew it was something easy, I just could not find it. Thanks very much for your help. Worked great.
