Subject:Uninstall 8 first?

How are you guys handling this? Are you uninstalling 8 before you install 9, or is there a better way? Maybe someone from forum admin. can offer some advice as well. Thanks!

There is no reason to uninstall version 8.0 previous to installing version 9.0. They should live side-by-side without any problems.

Thanks, Dave. If I wanted to uninstall 8 later, would there be a problem? Will I lose any functions or plugs?

Nope. Everything will continue to work fine no matter when you uninstall Forge 8.0.

Should I uninstall NR2d prior to installing the new version that comes with SF9? I have had problems registering NR before and I do not want to go trough the same problems once more.
