Subject:SF9 moving loop selection handle screen refresh

SF9 Trial Version.

I noticed that selecting a portion of a wave and sliding the selection grab handle back and forth causes my screen to refresh (slow movement) for every millisecond or so of selection area dragged over audio . Is this normal behaviour?
