Can anyone see a way in SF9 to take a polyphonic BWF file and convert it to mulitple mono files on the timeline so one can process, pan or otherwise manipulate the tracks individually? |

You can process individual channels simply by selecting only the channels you wish to process (click in the left channel header area, or Ctrl+click to add/remove a channel, or Shift+click to add a range of channels). Also, you can "lock" channel selection with the little padlock icon in the upper left. This will retain the channel selection when dragging, etc. in the data area (though click selection in the channel header area will still work). You can re-pan statically with the channel converter tool. Dynamic panning can be accomplished with a third party panning plug-in in the plug-in chainer. Depending on the type processing you intend to do, importing the BWF to Vegas may be more in line with what you're looking for. There's a demo in the trial section. J.
