Sounds like some kind of setting/preset the Pro-53 uses?

I don't use the Pro-53, so I can't help. Sorry.

Yep, indeed it is.

.p5b = Pro 5 Bank
.p5p = Pro 5 Program
.p5a = Pro 5 All
.p5f = Pro 5 File

I hate it when Plugin Manufacturers come up with multiple saving techniques. They always change their way to save presets. I guess this is why the FX Bank / Program format is supported in Acid.

The issue happens when I delete a soft synth : Pro 53 looses its preset and reverts back to a default one. I think I can work around this one thought (saving in .fxp / .fxb).

If the plug loads in a 'settings' file, then it would make sense that when we persist it state that it would save this and then reload it when we load it stated back in.

I don't know. I will put into our queue to have a look see.

Thanks
Peter

>if the plug loads in a "settings" file

That's what I've been thinking about. The fact that the plugin loads a default preset file (if I understood you correctly).

The repro would be :
-Insert Pro53, change some of its knobs / settings
-Insert Kontakt (cuz it has multiple busses)
-Delete Kontakt
-See if the knobs / settings changed on Pro53 were gone back to some "default" preset.
