Subject:Turning off audio in MIDI editing?

Hey, how do you turn off the the behavior where the sample or synth plays for every note you write or edit in the inline MIDI editor? And I do mean without removing audio from MIDI playback (i.e., without diabling realtime MIDI monitoring, which disables ALL MIDI playback, not just the sounds generated when you're programming notes)?

It usually doesn't bother me but with some particular samples I was using earlier this evening (holy crap, it's morning... geez), it was driving me absolutely nuts.

I could have sworn I'd seen this option somewhere in Acid, but of course I can't find it now that I'd like to use it.

There is no way to do this.

Definitely something we will consider for the next version.

Cool. Appreciate it. Would certainly be a useful and pleasant option.

Thanks for the reply, Peter.
