Is it compatible with Acid Pro 6, and if so, how do you use it so you can record with it in "real-time." I want to be able to hear it while I record, so that I don't have to paint the plugin over the recorded track afterwards. How do you set this plugin up so you can record with it live?

Thank you for you help!

As JohnnyRoy noted in the other thread, it looks like Amplitube acts as a VST effect.

Insert Amplitube at the track level, then click the record device selector button (it's the button that appears after a track is armed for recording; it usually has a number to indicate the input). Choose, "Input Monitor," then, "On."

Remember that recording in this manner records only a dry signal; playback with effects will occur in real time later on. (It also will help to use ASIO drivers for their low latency and a peppy system to handle the real-time effects load.)

If you'd like to permanently apply the effects to the track (to mostly conserve processing power), simply bounce down the track (Ctrl+M).
