Subject:fx settings lost, new installed acid doesnt

remember the settings. a similar topic might already exist but i couldnt find anything on short hand....its´quite important to know what to do. this happened everytime we installed a new version of acid. you load an old project and all settings are set to 0.
no delay, no eq, nada. if i take the same files to a different computer, it works - sometimes. anybody knows this problem, any help around?
