http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933305 Noticed that Sound Forge 9 and CD Architect are listed as Vista Certified on Microsoft's web site. Typo? Real? Anyone have any release information? |

Anyone who knows wouldn't be able to tell. No point in asking. |

Oh, and from the release/build number, it looks pretty real to me. I'd say it's about time! I reckon launch will be during NAB, which isn't that far away...? |

Well, given that the current version is 8 and has been around for a while, I would guess that '9' is inevitable sometime soon. I note the CDA is 5.2.193 vs current update 5.2.153 . Wonder if that's the missing 'save'modes, or just some compiler compatibilty stuff...... geoff PS By 'missing' I mean save features that I have been asking for for ages, like some sort of disc image that can be loaded directly into a dupe application (ie Padus CDI, ISO image, or industry standard DDP). So one doesn' have to go thru an error-ridden write and read cycle to get to a duplication house. But I guess we'll have to wait another 5 years for CDA6 for those...
