Subject:Effects problem

Hi everyone. I'm new to Sound Forge and to this forum. I installed version 8.0d, build 128, ran all the migration tools, but I'm unable to call up any effects such as the noise gate or graphic eq. No error msgs - no nothing. I click on the selection and basically nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might have to restart your computer after you installed SF 8.0, along with the Noise Reduction Bundle/CD Architect. Things froze up on me. I just restarted, and the program worked fluently. Don't know if this simple advice will work for you, but it did for me.

Uninstalled / reinstalled the software and it's working properly. Thanx!
