I have Music Studio and I do not see anything that represents double bass drum loops. I have tried to simulate the double bass sound, but cannot seem to do it. I want some good Lamb of God type double bass sound. Is there anything I can download, do, or buy to get that sound? Am I missing something in the loops that are given in Music Studio? Thanks for any help you can give. By the way, I'm still a noob with this program and this is all a learning process for me.

I use acid 6 so I hope this translates to The Music Studio. What I would do would be to import a track that you like that uses the double drum method then cut up your loops to match, maybe edit the velocity of the hits, and crank up the BPM.

I don't know if I can do that with Music Studio, and if you can, I don't know how to do it yet. The only thing I can can come up with so far is to combine the drum loops with the bass drum one shot promo. It works, but I wish I could get better double bass loops. I know how to import a track, even though I haven't done it yet, but how would I isolate the drum track?

If you are talking about isolating the drum part on an imported track then this is impossible, you will just need to tune out the rest of the noise.

Get Double Bass Mania drum loops from "Beta Monkey." Just google it. Cost me 30 dollars, and have saved my music. You get like 800 of them in all different tempos. Anything you get for free is shit-trust me. If you play, they will come! Just buy these and you'll be fine.

I usually just arrange percussive One-shots to get a double bass sound. (Of course, having the right One-shots helps. That Double Bass Mania collection is pretty good.) You could also pull what you want from a loop and create One-shots out of them and arrange them as you see fit.

Thanks, bookmarked it. Heard a couple of samples. It is what I'm looking for. The preview songs are really good. Maybe soon I will acquire the skill to make up songs like that. I will do most of the guitar work myself and some bass lines too. I have lots of learning to do. Is there anything that could help me get more creative faster? Anyway, thanks for directing me to Beta Monkey.

You just have to plug away at these loops. I'm still learning how to program them. The more you put into them, the more they'll put out. You have to be disciplined enough to learn all the folders, and how they cooperate with fills, etc. I did it, and have tremendous ability now to arrange my own drum tracks.
