Hello everyone, I'm having the following issue. I use a guitar effects processor, a Digitech GNX3, through my sound card, which is just the card on the motherboard, a Realtek AC'97 Audio. With Acid Music Studio 6.0, I dropped a wav file on the track that came with the software, just a drum beat for example. Then I record playing the guitar along with that track, but when I play it back the guitar is off, quite noticably. I'm used to using Cakewalk software, and I also have a drum machine, and I've never had this issue before. With Cakewalk everything is in synch, using the same computer, same setup. Is there a setting of some sort for this issue? As a test I even laid down a rhythm track of me playing the guitar, then played some lead on another track, and that was pretty much in sync, but still wasn't quite right. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, David |

This is a known issue when using Wave or the Mapper mode. ASIO does not have this problem. In ACID Pro, there is an recording offset adjustment to account for this. ACID Music studio does not have this adjustment. Peter |

Thanks for your response Peter, much appreciated. I guess I'll just have to stick with Cakewalk. Cheers, David |
