Anyone know how to place ap product like Amplitube 2 into an FX chain, and be able to record with it? Everytime I add it to Acid Pro 5 effects chain, it brings up the plugin, however, I can't get anything to play out of it. Do I need a seperate mixes (external) or something to to work alongside with it? |

You can't do that in Acid Pro 5. You can in 6 though. |

Hi : I did it using Live v5. ( I guess you could also do it in AP6). (1) setup a chain with a VSTi guitar (I used plugsound fretted instruments). (2) after that just drop Amplitube in the chain. (3) now play your keyboard and you should hear it. I know this applies to Live 5. Not sure if you can use VST effects on the same chain as a midi-instrument in AP6. Seems like it should work if you rout the output signal bus-to-bus. just put amplitube 2 on the other bus... i think. i hope this helps . FWIW: It was a lot of fun doing this. good for short riffs. peace Rahman |
