Crashes and Plugin Problems...Need advice -ACID Product Family

I posted earlier about this problem but forgot to include my specs, Sorry. Anyway, I had problems with certain plugins not working (multi dynamics, Noise Gate etc.) I seem to think they had worked in the past. I dont think i had changed anything but...I called Tech support. They said uninstall 6.0 and install 6.d. (it was more complicated than that but...) After all that, the plugins still dont work, Media manager is Gone (with a weird error message- I can pass it on if it will help) AND Acid is crashing more than ever. Can anyone give me any advice.
