Posted by: buckaroo Date:2/1/2007 9:47:41 AM I have the free download plug in Sidechain (red vst by slim slow slider) now i seem to have the mono version and the stereo version. What i want to do is Sidechain my kick so that i can hear it, and it affects every other audio track in acid for that "pumpin" sound. I tried the mono version by putting the Sidechain comp on Bus A and then putting all the audio tracks inc the kick onto bus A on their tracks. This seemed to work fine but as its a mono VST it put eveyhting into mono! So i tried exaclty the same with the stereo version and now i get nothing??! I know with the stereo version that it now has l&r ins and outs, but i dont know how you access these on Acid 6? Am i doing this right? I only want the kick to affect the whole of the rest of the track by punching through it? - help!
