Subject:white noise when i start up acid

I get loud white noise for 3-4 seconds when i start up acid pro 6.0d and when i open certain tracks. does anyone know whats the problem? I'm running acid 6 on xp pro and m-audio audiophile card 24-96.

Not sure what's going on there. Did you try installing the latest drivers for the Audiophile? Try updating your video card drivers too if possible.
