I am editing audio of some sermons. The quality of recording was not the greatest and to hot to begin with. The pastor was using a headset mic and evrey time he breaths it sounds like Darth Vader is delivering the message. I have been going through and manually editing out each breath but this has become a overwhelming night mare. Is there a way of selecting one breath and having the program search for others just like it? Or, is thier a better method of doing this that I am unaware of? Any help would be appreciated. |

Waves makes a debreather plugin, but I have never tried it. You could try an expander (graphic dynamics), but if the breathing is too loud it won't work. You could also try using multiband dynamics. Start with the deesser or the plosive preset and play with the filer. |
