I have installed v. 6d over v. 6a.....
MD thought i should uninstall before in upgrade, does that work ???
I will try that if i must.
I would still like to know what this means.
My error screen says this....................
Exception access violation in module acid60 dll or exe
Portable rewire dll cpp {895} verify falure.
This happens every time i use Acid.

I get the same errors with any version from 6.0b through 6.0d. With the original 6.0 it seems to work a little better, you could try uninstalling 6.0d and re-installing original 6.0.

I solved the issue by using another soundcard (was using M-Audio Theater).
