I've got someone who wants to master my stuff on Logic. Is there a way to link Logic to Acid project files aside from rendering the acid material first?

I dont think so...

Since Acid is not a mac compliant application and logic is not windows compliant application you cannot use the rewire protocol for streaming tracks into your session.

I have Logic 5.5 which was the last PC version before dear old Apple discontinued this.

With this version, you can swap Standard Midi files between Logic and Acid - there may be a little checking of some parameters after each switch, but the main midi info should be ok.

(In Acid - File / Export / Standard Midi File Type 1, to preserve tracks)

When you render your ACID file there is an option (under Render options at the bottom of the Render As dialog) to Save each track as a separate file. This will allow you to load the wavs into Logic (or any other audio program).

What Johnny suggested will be the best way to do this. You are probably going to want to zero (or -4... or -8... or whatever) your tracks before you render (double click on volume). Then you'll need to check and make sure each individual track is not distorting. BTW, this will make the over-all mix sound horrible, but that doesn't matter because the idea is to render your tracks individually.

I hope that made sense.
