Hello. I currently use a pc with two hard drives. The program hard drive contains ACID pro 6.0 and Reason. The audio hard drive contains audio from external sources (guitar / bass), sample wav files, etc. I pretty much always run both programs in rewire mode with Reason as a slave so my question is, in which hard drive do I store my actual Acid / Reason projects? Program where acid and reason is OR audio where my samples are? Thank you. |

Always store your projects on a drive other than your os drive.[os=operating system] This way if there is a problem with the drive itself or you just want to reformat the drive you can do that without any thought involved. I have 4 drives... 1)os drive:partitioned 50/50...one for internet use...one for audio.[no non essential audio related apps installed] 2+3)internal drives for loops/audio files...reason samples/refills...bfd drum kits...etc/video. 4)External drive for backup and storage. The external drive is connected to my computer via usb 2.0. Ed. |

Thanks, so in my case, since I only have two hard drives, I should store my projects in the second drive where I have my wav files, samples, etc. ? |
