Yes - just get the right vst, they're usually called 'sidechain compressors'. |

I would suggest that do some reading about compressor side-chaining. It will give you a clearer idea of what you are trying to do. Many times a compressor is side chained to a EQ so that the EQ can trigger when the compressor works. That is generalized... and probably incompete. Here is a compressor that has side chaining. http://www.voxengo.com/product/crunchessor/ But there are many others. The wave compressors should have it. |

http://www.db-audioware.com/dB-D-dynamics-processor-more.htm this one is best, most stable and easy to use sidechain compressor for acid. sadly its not available as vst - ony directx, but it works very good in acid. |
