In Acid 6.0 I've been trying to create some chains to go with my projects. Some for just vocals and some for just beats. But no matter how I mix and switch them around I still just end up making the sound worse than the original. I have only the basic Sony FX plug-ins. Has anyone had any luck with mix and matching FX Plug-ins? Any suggestions? Lucky |

I only use 2 Sony plugs on a regular basis. The track eq for quickly rolling off unnecessary low end material, and more recently I've been using Wave Hammer to really tweak some punch on kick and toms. |

I find the Sony track eq to be really lame sounding for some reason. I've mostly been using the eq from TrackPlug or sometimes Posifohpit lately. I would really recommend a purchase of TrackPlug from WaveArts if you would like a decent track eq and compressor. Its very light on CPU and the compressor is a hundred times better than the compressor plugin Sony provides. Cheers, Randy Message last edited on1/12/2007 3:28:51 PM byrandygo. |

Ok, I see that there pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. Randygo - What track plug do you have? I see that if I want to master our songs before distribution, I will need more than one V5 Plug-in! Were ready to put out album but we wanted to get the songs remastered but the companies charge a lot. Individual track volumes just aren’t enough. I thought, through Plug-ins, I could do the same thing the companies are doing, plus it would save money in the long run too. Am I going in the right direction in remastering tracks? Lucky |
