I sincerely hope this message falls within the guidelines of an acceptable post. I'm seeking a videographer for 1 full day of contract work, shooting and editing, of TV news type video in Toronto in early March. The money is good ($1000 US)
I'll need a shooter to follow a news person for about 8 hours (shooting about 2 hours of video), then edit selected scenes for delivery on DVD the following morning. An easy to follow outline will be provided. This is not a difficult job, but you'll be tired by midnight!
This job is part of a well established corporate training program. It is not a one-time opportunity. If satisfied with your work, you may be used up to 5 or 6 times a year in Canada. US videographers need not apply (they want to use Canadians). You'll work with some of the finest, most respected people in the corporate training world.
I've shot this job many, many times in the US. It's a good gig. I will be there to provide guidance, so you won't be alone. This is definately "shoot & scoot" video. You must be able to work fast.
You must have a shoulder, TV news type camera with on-camera lights and wireless handheld news mic. All video will be shot at one location, but editing may be completed elsewhere.
If you're interested, post a reply and I'll give you a call to discuss further.
Thanks!
