Subject:Acid Soft Synth?

Hi, after weeks of trying to come to grasp with Acid Music Studio I've finally figured out how to make mild use of DLS Soft Synth with my Yamaha USB Keyboard hooked up since I was never able to record directly from the keyboard in real-time. So now knowing what I think I want to do, I'm off to find related tutorials and stuff....being a total neubie in this regard.

Question: This isn't where it ends, is it? I mean, are there other soft synths and such to make use of? Are they easy to load in?
'and are there major differences between "any one" and "any other"?

Thanks in advance. :-)

Go over to kvraudio.com and take a look around. Do a search for more popular free soft synths. You'll be amazed!

Thank you. I'm beginning to understand this 'ever so slowly'.

But I'll tell you what. I learned from someone elsewhere how for my particular keyboard, Yamaha DGX 205 one only need to select NONE as the patch on the midi track of Acid Studio and then Choose any voice on the keyboard followed by the one you want....By then it'll catch and be recognised by Acid.
Although it's not entirely without my having yet other problems. Oye~!
