Please make Acid installs and updates operate independently of Media Manager. I don't use it. Acid doesn't need it. Why then can I not cancel the installation of it when I update Acid? |

I have said this before, but I will repeat it again... MM is part of the package and solution as we defined the product. MM will always install if it is not currently installed when you update the software. There are no plans to change this in the future. Peter |

MM, is like taxes. The majority of us never see the benefits of it, but the IRS (Sony) insists that we must live with it. :-). Maybe it will be like social security, where one day I "might" live to see the benefit of it. Until then, I'll continue to turn it off in the preferences and watch Acid launch 10 times faster. I'm sure SMS will give us what we all have been waiting for in Sound Forge v9.0 by including a built in MM v2.5 update. |
