Sigh... Okay, I have gotten to the point where I can do karoke. The problem is, once I record the song and I render it and send it to my iTunes library, there is all this extra space on the recording. I can record a 2, 3, 4, minute song, and all the files come out to 7:04. Does anyone know how I can have the file just include what I have recorded? I have fiddled around with everything I can think of but nothing has worked. I don't understand why, if I do a recording that lasts 3:30, it doesn't render as 3:30. Can anyone help me? Please? |

Perhaps your loop points are set at 7:04 for some reason, and you're rendering within the loop points by mistake? |

Have you checked the manual for rendering? When you get it fixed, it's a breeze. In the render window, look at your render options. Check what inverseroom has told you. The loop region is right above your top (first) track. |

I'm still working on it. It's saving everything at 4:45 now. The search continues... |

There's some good feedback, so I'll summarize and add a thought: 1) You are selecting "render loop region" when rendering the file - and the loop point is set at 7:04 2) You have some part of a file (even a wee sliver of audio) down in the neighbourhood of 7:04 and it doesn't show up clearly when zoomed out. 3) Monsters have taken over your computer and they punched out at 7:04. Wait 16 hours until they punch in again. I can't say I've ever had this problem...to be honest, it sounds like one of the two possibilities, but I can't think of another possibility other than some really weird phantom bug that is only showing up on your system and no one else's (most commonly referred to as "userus interruptus." |
