Wow, man I am a little perplexed.

I recently installed Itunes on my PC for my son's IPOD and now the ID3 tags in Sound Forge don't seem to be saving when I edit an MP3. Could the installing of Itunes have unchecked a box within Preferences that I can't find?

I want the ID3 tag fields to reflect under properties when I open the file up in WMP or Itunes.

Please help.

Thanks.

I have run across this in the past. I'm not 100% certain, but I think the problem is that Sound Forge does not import the ID3 tag information when you open the file. Therefore, when you save the file after editing, then Sound Forge saves with the information that is currently in it's ID3 tag information tab, which is usually nothing unless you specifically typed something in. So, when you save from Sound Forge the ID3 tag information is getting overwritten. This could definately be handled by SF in a better way.
