(1) When I add notes at the end of a MIDI clip (more bars appended), the chopper is not updated in real time. I mean, the extra bars just added DO NOT appear immediately in the chopper. I have to hide the chopper and show it again for the new bars are displayed. Annoying... Can you improve that ? (2) Similar annoyance : I add a new MIDI track, I draw a 2-bars clip, add 1 note in the piano roll. The note can be seen in the chopper. But... When I add a second note in the piano roll, that second note CANNOT be selected in the chopper. Can you fix that problem ? I guess the chopper in not yet perfect... |

Yes, the Chopper does not reflect extending a MIDI clip unless you close and reopen it. It does, however, reflect new notes within the already chopped area. ~jr |

Thanks JohnnyRoy. Peter, do you plan to improve this feature, in order to have the chopper updated in real time ? It would be far more convenient. |

Thanks, Peter. This is why the chopper should be updated in real time : I often create note by note MIDI sequences for rhythm tracks and then chop patterns to assemble the song parts (intro, verse, chorus and so on). New bars added to the MIDI clip should be immediately visible in the chopper, for they can be easily selected and inserted into the song. I'm longing for a next update with that improvement ;) |

I agree -- if you look at FL Studio, it permits this very same work flow pattern |
