I thought 6.0d Plugin Scan was improved -ACID Product Family

Subject:I thought 6.0d Plugin Scan was improved Posted by: Vocalpoint Date:12/11/2006 7:44:08 AM Spent a good chunk of this past weekend rebuilding several workstations - including my main WS....and I thought as a fresh start - I would make sure that I had the latest 6.0d build on this re-install. The install went fine but on the very first launch - this thing took FOREVER on the VST scan and then just finally hung indefinitely. I killed the process via task manager and restarted and upon second start - it finally managed to trudge it's way thru my plugins. I do not have an extraordinary amount of plugins...some NI stuff...Spectrasonics...my UAD stuff of course....but I had never noticed this issue on any other fresh build...the last one being 6.0b. Since my troubles with NI's authorization system have now carried into this week...I am sure yet another couple of installs are coming up :) I will try 6.0b as a fresh install and see what difference that makes.
