Subject:Acid recording project within an audio track?

I was recording a live audio track to an already large project and seemed to keep "capturing" the rest of the project in the take!

How do i stop acid capturing and recording the rest of the projects audio in each new audio track?!!!

Might be stupid for me to ask, but did you mute the tracks you don't want, and solo the one's you do want?

Are you sure that you are recording from only the mic input and not the wave output? You don't have any hardware listed in you profile so it is difficult to help you. It sounds like you have your card set to record "What-U-Hear" mode but you need to set it to only record the input of the mic.
