Once bitten, twice shy.

True but if like me any of you have been harassing here the tech support for a swift answer to 6.0c problems, it's unfair we hesitate now testing the new version. So I did (with a system restore, of course).
And I have to say in my case so far so good. I've actually been playing a lot with the chopper (my main complaint), and now it seems to work perfectly. In fact I took advantage yesterday of a 'company with the name of an animal which lives in the desert' (no cross publicity here) Xmas Group Buy and bought a bundle with their two flagship VST FXs. They're so good I can't stop messing around with them like mad. And have had no problem so far.
I can reopen my old projects (they're simple cause I like to render quite often to avoid CPU problems) and have not found any problem so far.

I understand people who feels a little bit cautious, particularly if they make a living of making music. I think they do well waiting to see what happens. It's not my case at all, so I decided to install 6.0d and try. The more we are the sooner we'll spot new (inevitable) bugs.

I don't know about you, but I don't expect new bugs to be inevitable in a patch!

Cheers,

Randy

You're right. Patches are supposed to eliminate bugs, not introduce new ones. But recent experience ...

I have to say today is a holiday in my country, so I've spent a lot of time playing with 6.0d, and have not had any problem yet. Has anybody else tested it?

Yes -- and it survived the initial stress test --

I've had no issues, but then again I usually do not. If I regularly posted, it would something like,"Still no problems." And no one who is having issues with acid wants to see that!
