Subject:Digitizing old recordings

I have about 10 cassette tapes of early music that I want to digitize and
re-master.
The songs are very good but the original recordings are of poor quality.
All that was used was a 4 track cassette recorder.
Can you think of any software that could improve them?
Maybe Waves or iZotope Ozone or something already in Sonar or Soundforge 8.
Thanks
Gary

Noise Reduction and a HF exciter could help, aside from the usual mastering process'. EQ, Comp/limit ect.. Ozone has a HF exciter, I don't know about Noise Reduction.
The Waves plug-ins are overpriced in my opinion, but they ARE good.
