Subject:ProSonus Inspire compatibility w/ XP media

I'm ready to buy a ProSunos Inspire interface but have been informed that it, and 99% of all interface units, work with XP PRO& XP Home but not XP Media center edition. I'm ready to bite the bullet and dump media center and install home edition. Can anyone help and let me know if this is the right choice for truely Professional sounding recording of guitar and keyboards. I've been fighting dirty& grainy tracks since I bought my new PC and I don't think it's AP 6.o or my sound card. Thank you for any help!!! Spider
