Subject:Removing an older version

After installing version 6, am I safe in removing version 5 by going into control panel and removing it?

I'd love to say yes you are safe but it's a gamble. I have experienced no harm and I've had earlier versions of Sony products disable shared components of those that were still installed. I don't think anyone can say for sure. It "should" work OK. Worse case you have to re-install ACID 6.
