I noticed something pretty remarkable today. I'm wondering if this is an advantage of using Acid Music Studio and Acid Products. Here it is: I recorded some rythem from my guitar on one file. When I recorded a lead guitar/solo on another file, I rendered that file into a wave(wma), and than opened the file into the previous one. When I did a playback, it was as if the rythem was "automnatically" playing in exact timing as each of the notes hit fron the guitar solo. It was like having a "ghost: playing my rythem for me! The tracks were both beatmappers. Is this the reason for this happening. Just want to know how this happened. This could save me from countless hours of timing issues with my tracks. Thanks! |

That is the "magic" of ACID. It plays everything in the same key and tempo as the project as long as it's beatmapped or a loop (on-shots don't do this which make them great for percussion where you wouldn't wan this to happen). This is one of the reasons we all love ACID. It removes the hard work and just leaves you to be creative. ;-) ~jr |

Unbelieveable! I really don't think I have a need for Cakewalk Music Creator anymore. I do use their synths and plugins. Very nice; epecially, the Project 5 stuff that comes with it. But Acid always knows how to put the "fun" aspect back into the recording process. Cakewalk is so damn hard, and I used to lose valuable time in the set-up process, as well as production. Thanks Acid! |
