What video fornats are supported in Acid 6 - .avi, .mov, mpeg? Can't seem to find any info other than buy an encoder.

All three formats seem to work fine with my Acid 6, .avi surly.
I don't think you need any separate encoder for working with or rendering avi.

Many formats are supported, including QuickTime, AVI, Windows Media and MPEG 1 & 2. It can even import Flash files.

QuickTime support, if memory serves, requires QuickTime be installed (which is free from Apple's site).

Note that MPEG requires the MainConcept MPEG plug-in which is a separate purchase. Also note that the Studio version of ACID cannot use it.
