Hi,
I'm not interested in using the media manager. Is there anyway that I can install the update without installing NetFramework... just don't want to take the risk. Would like to try out the new update of Acid Pro 6c though as currently (Acid Pro 6.0 - never update before) will hang sometimes when I load a FX plug-in while audio playing (under rewire slave mode with Cubase SX3). Pls help. Thks.

Nope. It's part of the product. If you want to use it, you need the .Net Framework. It' just a set of DLL's that sit on your file system. Nothing actively runs. You can always set a restore point before installing just in case something gets messed up but lots of us have been running it for a while with no ill affects.

No you can't avoid it. What is your perceived risk ? Hasn't been a problem for anybody else....
